With STREAM programming expanding at Highland Park Elementary STEM Magnet School and coming to D60 Columbian Elementary, educators from the schools joined colleagues from other Magnet Schools for a multi-day professional learning session led by representatives from PBLWorks.

For the first time, District 60 rolled out the red carpet to celebrate an exceptional teacher and staff member from every school across the district—along with honoring district-wide Teachers and Staff Members of the Year at each level.

Mission
Our highly qualified staff at Columbian Elementary School is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment that allows for differentiated instruction, character education, technology, and high-order thinking skills for ALL students. Continuous monitoring of student progress and open communication with students, parents, and community members will ensure program effectiveness. Our goal is to prepare all students to be productive, responsible citizens in a competitive world.
