Blind Date with a Book

A table with a Valentine's theme included a giftwrapped book

What better month than February to strike up a new romance with a book and be Present, Powerful and Empowered by Reading?

This Valentine’s Day season, the district has partnered with the Pueblo City-County Library District, which annually hosts a “Blind Date with a Book” display.

The concept is simple: each wrapped book comes with an enticing “teaser” designed to spark curiosity. Scholars from each high school are choosing a mystery tome and will read it in hopes of broadening their literary horizons.
